A Buy Local rewards app was developed to make it easier (and more fun) for customers to support the small businesses that give a community its character. The work included naming, brand development, creative direction, and merchant coordination to build a strong network of participating business customers. Using geo-based triggers, the app delivered real-time rewards notifications when customers visited partner locations, encouraging local spending while increasing card usage and customer loyalty. The platform was built in partnership with Larky, a fintech provider focused on consumer engagement.
