With a background in Art Direction, one of my favorite ways to tell a story is through iconic imagery. Photography sets the mood and lets meaning come through without spelling everything out. At a time when every financial institution was saying the word “local,” I wanted to show it by celebrating real people. That meant photographing employees, business owners, and nonprofits, and in the process, becoming a bridge between them. The greatest joy came from being trusted to capture where they were and hearing the journeys that brought them there.
